COVID-19 Kinky Quarantine Bops: Our Faves For the Week (3)

Instead of songs, this week we’ll share some of our favorite Albums and EPs. Enjoy!

This is Cangelosi’s first full length project, and it smacks! With a roster of Chicago heavy hitters, like Kahrion, Roy French, and Qari - just to name a few, Deep is an 11 track gem. Cangelosi has a way of working his own signature style into each track while also catering perfectly to each artist: displaying a wide range. Although we have our favorites here, we highly suggest you roll up, and take this one from the top.

She’s a superstar, but she’s lowkey and we love that energy. Kari Faux always speaks the truth and makes songs we want to dance to, and this album is no different. Some of our faves are “StickUp!”, “Look At That”, and “While God Was Sleepin…” Turn this one up!

You know we had to throw this one on here! This star-studded compilation has something for everyone. Lately, we’ve been bumping, “IDEKYB” and “Harold’s Chicken.” Let us know what you’re favorites are!

KLEFTO, of Black Noise Records, has been gracious enough to share his LEFTOVERS with the people.

KLEFTO is music to vibe out to, Whether you’re making breakfast, on your workflow or just relaxing. Listen closely and you’ll hear familiar favorites effortlessly sewn into the mix.

There’s an art to making music so smooth but still manages to make you make THAT FACE. IFYKYK. KLEFTO has perfected this art.

Roy French is back and providing the vibes for all you bored bunnies out there. 9 tracks of pure, unfiltered Roy energy. The album includes signature French mosh pit bangers, “fidget music” and a plethora of visuals that Roy made himself.

Roy said that his favorite to make was “Flame” because of the sounds he was able to add into it, and some of our faves include: “Red T-Rex” and “Pizzarolls, Popcorn & Crutons.”

“Other Side” gives us a dash of Cudi vibes, but obviously still very Roy French. He’s a vibe, a unique vibe. If you’re not in tune, get to it.

Not gonna lie, this one made us want to get into the car and drive, but since we couldn’t we settled for a kitchen dance party.

To be honest, we’re just happy this exists.
