Dxtr Spits & Brizzy Danks release a fresh "Pack Of Dank"; a captivating all sensory experience about mental health stuff...sort of
Dxtr Spits & Brizzy Danks are teaming up to take over Chicago with the release of their debut audio-visual soundtrack. Pack of Dank features 7 original songs with corresponding short films produced and directed by the duo themselves.
Pack of Dank journeys through the mind of Dxtr Spits as he humorously unpacks his tumultuous relationships with mental health, romance, and societal stressors (symbolically represented by a Rubik’s cube). Through Brizzy’s innovative, whimsical videography and production, along with Dxtr’s transformative lyrical work, Pack of Dank offers up a stimulating experience with a larger message. As he faces his own demons, and ventures into self-exploration, Dxtr opens up a conversation about deeper meaning. It all begins with one simple question, “Who are we deep down?”.
As listeners are introduced to an innovative sonic experience, Pack of Dank visually travels through nonsensical landscapes, masterminding an adventure like none other. Dxtr’s warped mind and unresolved grievances serve as a theme carried throughout the project, and his Rubik’s cube is representative of the patience and diligence required to find resolve. By the end, the Rubik’s cube has been fiddled to completion (or so we think…).
Pack of Dank will launch along with a specialized merchandise line via Dxtr Spits’ brand ONLi. The exclusive line will consist of limited edition fanny packs, hoodies, & stickers. A few short days before the Pack of Dank release, 1000 exclusive invitation cards will be sent to friends, community members, and fellow artists in the greater Chicago area. Through INVITE ONLi, viewers will have the opportunity to attend a private viewing of Pack of Dank.
Pack of Dank is the product of curiosity and uncensored creativity. Brizzy Danks, Dxtr Spits, and their multi-talented co-producer, and audio engineer Caleb Harris, leveraged their creative abilities to create without bounds. This project will be the first of a series of audio-visual ventures aimed at challenging the human mind and innovating within the field of mental health and artistry.
